  • 1 small can peas
  • 1 c. chicken
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper

    Take meat drippings and add 1/2 cup of water.

    Bring to a boil; add 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 1 teaspoon instant coffee (mix first with little water).

    Stir until thickens.
