  • 3 cups fresh peaches, sliced (about 4 large)
  • 14 cup orange juice
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 12 teaspoon orange rind, grated
  • 18 teaspoon ground allspice

Directions

    In a medium saucepan, combine peach slices and orange juice; bring to a boil.

    Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 8 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.

    Place peach mixture into a blender or food processor; cover and process until smooth, stopping once to scrape down sides.

    Return peach mixture to saucepan; add sugar, honey, orange rind, and allspice.

    Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered for 25 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally.

    Spoon into jars; cover and store in the refrigerator.
