Peach Cobbler

  • 1 large can peaches, sliced and drained
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 egg, whipped
  • cinnamon

Directions

    Pour peaches in a pie plate and sprinkle with lemon juice. In separate bowl, mix together self-rising flour and sugar, then add whipped egg to dry ingredients.

    Mix to make it fluffy and crumbly.

    Pour over peaches, then pour melted butter over pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.

    Remove from oven and sprinkle with cinnamon liberally.

    Serve hot with ice cream or Cool Whip.
