- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. almond extract

Directions

1Dredge peaches in flour.

2Add next 5 ingredients and mix well. Set aside.

3Roll 3/4 of pastry to 1/8-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.

4Fit into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

5Spoon in peach mixture.

6Roll remaining pastry out to 1/4-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.

7Cut into 1/2-inch strips.

8Arrange in lattice fashion over peaches.

9Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

10Yields 8 to 10 servings.
