  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 6 to 7 oz. milk
  • 2 c. sliced peaches
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Melt butter and pour it into a 9 x 12-inch shallow baking dish.

    Combine dry ingredients and combine with milk and nuts to make batter.

    Pour batter over melted butter in bottom of pan. Top with sliced and sugared peaches.

    Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350°. Serve either warm or cold and with whipped cream or ice cream or plain.
