Peach Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 large peaches
  • 3 c. milk, divided
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 (12 oz.) can Pet evaporated milk
  • 2 c. sugar

Directions

    Combine half of peaches and 1/4 cup milk in blender.

    Process until smooth.

    Transfer to a bowl and repeat procedure with remaining peaches and 1/4 cup milk.

    Set aside.

    Combine remaining 2 1/2 cups milk and next 3 ingredients.

    Heat 1 1/2 cups milk with sugar until sugar is melted.

    Cool.

    After milk is cool, add remaining ingredients.

    Pour into container of 4-quart electric freezer.

    Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.

    Yields 1 gallon.
