Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 5 peaches, pitted,peeled and roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons molasses
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1 lemon
Directions

1Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat.

2Add onion and cook until transparent.

3Add peaches and cook 4 minutes, stirring often.

4Add vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, sugar, and spices.

5Reduce heat to simmer and cook 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

6If necessary, add small amount of water to prevent the mixture from sticking or burning.

7Remove from heat.

8Add the juice of 1 lemon.

9Put into blender or food processor and puree.

10Serve at room temperature.
