  • 1 c. oats
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. melted butter
  • 3 oz. pkg. orange jello
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1 pt. vanilla ice cream
  • 2 c. sweetened sliced peaches

    Crust:

    Place rolled oats and almonds in 9-inch square, glass pan and toast at 350° for 5 minutes.

    Add brown sugar and melted butter, then toast again for 5 more minutes.

    Remove from oven and cool completely.

    (Save 1/2 cup crumbs for top.)
