Peach Pie Cake

  • 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can sliced peaches
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Pour peaches in a 12 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish. Sift cake mix evenly over peaches.

    Do not mix. Slice 1 stick butter evenly over cake mix and bake at 350° until brown.

    Remove from oven and sprinkle with butter, nuts and brown sugar that have been mixed together.

    Return to oven and bake until topping is slightly crisp.
