- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 can sliced peaches
- maraschino cherry halves
- Cool Whip, thawed
Directions

1Melt butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

2Sprinkle brown sugar evenly in pan.

3Drain peaches.

4Arrange peaches and cherries in sugar mixture.

5Mix cake as directed on box; spread batter over fruit.

6Bake at 350° for about 45 to 50 minutes until cake tests done with a toothpick.

7Let stand 5 minutes, then turn upside-down on cookie sheet.

8Serve warm with Cool Whip.
