  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. butter/margarine
  • 6 peaches, halved
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

    Cut in butter. Sprinkle mixture on bottom and sides of greased round pan.

    Place peaches, cut side up over dough.

    Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over peaches.

    Bake 15 minutes.

    Mix egg yolk with milk. Pour over peaches and bake 30 minutes more.
