  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. Karo light corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. butter or Mazola margarine
  • 1/4 c. heavy or whipping cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped roasted peanuts

Directions

    In medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, butter and cream.

    Over medium heat, bring to a boil.

    Add vanilla, lemon juice and nuts.

    Pour over hot crust; spread evenly.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 15 minutes or until set.

    Cool completely.

    Drizzle with glaze.
