  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 pkg. Hershey's Kisses

Directions

    Cream together shortening, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar.

    Add egg, milk and vanilla and mix thoroughly.

    Add dry ingredients.

    Form into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake for 8 minutes at 375°.

    Remove from oven and place solid milk chocolate kiss on top of each cookie.

    Press down so that the cookie cracks around edge.

    Return to oven and bake for 1 to 2 minutes longer.
