- 1 c. margarine or butter, melted
- 1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 egg
- 2 c. salted peanuts
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Line jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch) with waxed paper.

3Beat butter and sugar.

4Mix in flour, syrup and egg.

5Stir in peanuts.

6Spread in pan.

7Bake until light brown (about 25 minutes).

8Loosen layer from sides of pan.

9Invert onto wire rack.

10Carefully remove paper.

11Cool.

12Break into pieces.
