- 1 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1/4 c. boiling water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2 c. raw peanuts
Directions

1Cook sugar, corn syrup and water until thermometer reaches 236°.

2Add peanuts and cook slowly until thermometer reaches 294°. Remove from heat and add soda and salt and mix well.

3Pour into well-buttered jelly roll pan.

4When cool, break into pieces. Yields 1 1/2 pounds.
