  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. Karo
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/2 c. peanuts

Directions

    Mix sugar, Karo and water in pan; bring to boil at 250°.

    Add 1 tablespoon margarine and peanuts to mixture and bring to 310°. Remove from heat.

    Add salt, soda and 1 tablespoon margarine. Pour into pie pans.

    Cool.

    Remove.

    Put onto waxed paper and finish cooling.
