- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 c. roasted salted peanuts
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1In 1 1/2-quart casserole, stir together sugar and syrup. Microwave on High for 4 minutes.

2Stir in peanuts.

3Microwave on High 3 to 5 minutes until light brown.

4Add butter and vanilla to syrup, blending well.

5Microwave on High 1 to 2 minutes more.

6Add baking soda and gently stir until light and foamy.

7Pour mixture onto lightly greased cookie sheet or buttered nonstick coated cookie sheet.

8Let cool 1/2 to 1 hour.

9When cool, break into small pieces and store in airtight container.

10Makes about one pound.
