  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 4 c. peanuts
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix sugar, syrup and water; cook until mixture spins a thread. Pour in peanuts.

    Cook until light brown.

    Add salt, butter, soda and stir.

    Mixture will foam.

    Pour immediately on buttered aluminum foil.

    Let spread.

    Best stored in glass containers. Will freeze.
