- 1 c. water
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. raw peanuts
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1In a 10-inch cast-iron skillet, boil water, Karo and sugar until mixture has a 5-inch thread or angel hair from spoon when lifted out of mixture.

2Add peanuts and boil until peanuts turn a golden brown and make a cracking sound.

3Remove from fire; add butter, salt and soda.

4Stir quickly and pour on buttered cookie sheet.
