  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 2 c. raw peanuts

    Combine sugar, syrup and water; cook slowly until it reaches 236°.

    Add nuts and salt; cook until temperature reaches 295°. Add butter and soda; remove from heat.
