- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1 c. roasted, salted peanuts
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1In 1 1/2-quart glass casserole, stir together sugar and syrup. Microwave at High 4 minutes.

2Stir in 1 cup roasted, salted peanuts.

3Microwave at High 3 to 5 minutes until light brown.

4Add butter and vanilla to syrup mixture, blending well.

5Microwave at High 1 to 2 minutes.

6Syrup will be very hot and sticky.

7Stir in 1 teaspoon baking soda gently until light and foamy.

8This does not take long!

9Pour mixture onto lightly greased cookie sheet quickly!

10Spread mixture out some by tipping pan back and forth. Cool 30 to 60 minutes.

11Break into pieces.
