- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. Spanish raw peanuts
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup and water in heavy light colored skillet. Cook, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.

2Add salt and nuts.

3Cook, stirring occasionally, to hard crack stage.

4Add butter, vanilla and soda.

5Stir to blend.

6Pour onto 2 buttered cookie sheets.

7While still warm, pull out to desired thinness. When cold, crack into pieces.
