  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 to 4 c. peanuts
  • 1 Tbsp. baking soda

Directions

    Cook sugar, syrup and water until it forms a soft ball when tried in water (236°).

    Add peanuts and cook until mixture is amber colored (294°).

    Remove from stove and add salt and soda mixture.
  4. 4
    Stir thoroughly and pour onto greased cookie sheet.
