- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Place first 3 ingredients into pan.

2Cook at medium heat. When mixture boils, cover with lid for 3 minutes.

3Remove lid. Stir in margarine, cook to 260°.

4Stir in peanuts, continue stirring and cook to 310°.

5Remove from heat, add baking soda, salt and vanilla.

6Pour batch on greased baking sheet.

7Let cool slightly.

8Loosen from sheet, turn over and stretch as thin as possible.
