- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. corn syrup
- 2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Bring to boil; boil until liquid spins a thread.

2Add 2 cups raw Spanish peanuts and boil until it turns a golden brown. Remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons butter or margarine and 1 tablespoon vanilla.

3Stir quickly and carefully as liquid will splatter.

4Quickly add 2 teaspoons baking soda and spread on buttered cookie sheet.
