- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. white syrup
- 2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Bring the 1/2 cup of water to a boil.

2Add sugar and syrup. Stir until dissolved and boil until 240° on candy thermometer. Now add peanuts and cook to 300° on thermometer.

3Immediately add butter, baking soda and the vanilla.

4Stir quickly.

5Spread on well buttered cookie sheets.

6Place on a cool area, then break into pieces.
