- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. Spanish peanuts
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Boil sugar, corn syrup, water and salt to 250°.

2Add 1 pound peanuts; cook to 280°, then add 1/4 cup butter and vanilla.

3Cook to 285° to 290°.

4Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon baking soda. Pour onto 3 buttered baking sheets.

5Pull out thin as mixture cools.

6When completely cooled, break into pieces and store in airtight containers.
