- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. unsalted peanuts
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1In a medium heavy saucepan, combine sugar, water and syrup. Cook, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.

2Continue cooking, stirring constantly, to hard crack stage or until mixture reaches 285° on a candy thermometer.

3Remove from heat.

4Add peanuts and baking soda; beat for 3 minutes.

5Immediately pour mixture into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

6Let cool completely in pan.

7Break into pieces in pan.

8Makes 1 1/4 pounds.
