- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. Karo
- 1 lb. raw Spanish peanuts
- 3 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Butter generously two large cookie sheets.

2In large pan, combine sugar, Karo and cook medium until drops like string from spoon.

3Add peanuts.

4Continue cooking until color of peanut brittle.

5Add baking soda; stir well.

6Mixture will boil up and bubble.

7Pour onto prepared pans.

8Spread out, getting peanuts into single layer.

9Cool completely and break into pieces.
