  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. white Karo corn syrup
  • 3 c. salted peanuts
  • 2 tsp. soda

Directions

    You will need a candy thermometer for this one.

    Bring sugar, water and corn syrup to boil or 280° on candy thermometer.

    Stir in peanuts.

    Boil to 300°.

    Remove from heat.

    Add soda.

    STIR QUICKLY!

    Then pour in 2 buttered cookie sheets.

    Let cool and break up.

    Keep in sealed plastic Ziploc bags or a tight-fitting plastic pan with lid or it will get sticky.
