Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 tbsp butter or oleo
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • Scant 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1 (12 oz) package raw peanuts

Directions

    Cook to 300°.

    Cook until quite thick and slightly yellow in color, (300°) stirring occasionally.

    Turn off heat and add 2 tsp soda.

    Stir well. Then pour into shallow buttered pan.

    When cool, break into pieces.
