- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. raw shelled peanuts
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Put all ingredients, except soda, in heavy boiler.

2Mix well. Cook until peanuts begin to pop and syrup begins to turn darker. Set off heat and add soda.

3Stir quickly because the mixture foams.

4Have 3 tins well-greased.

5Pour mixture in each.

6Let set aside and harden.

7Do not put in refrigerator.

8When well hardened, break into pieces.
