- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 c. white Karo
- 2 sticks oleo
- 2 c. raw peanuts
- Pinch of salt
Directions

1Blend well and stir constantly over burner until thermometer reaches 310° or hard crack mark on candy thermometer.

2Remove from burner, stirring constantly, and add one heaping teaspoon baking soda and 2 tsp. vanilla.

3Stir briskly until thoroughly blended. Pour mixture on to a buttered cookie sheet or buttered foil. Allow to cool until tacky to touch.

4Dump and stretch with hands. Allow to cool completely, then crack with back of big spoon.
