- 1 c. Karo corn syrup
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 12 oz. raw peanuts
- 3/4 tsp. salt (optional)
- butter (for cookie sheet)
Directions

1Combine Karo and sugar in pan.

2Heat over medium heat until sugar is dissolved (10 minutes), stirring often.

3Add peanuts and salt.

4Heat over medium-high heat until nuts are light brown, 10 to 15 minutes.

5Boil for 10 to 15 minutes.

6Pour baking soda.
