- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups salted peanuts
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 (12 1/2 ounce) jar caramel topping
- 3 tablespoons flour
Directions

1Heat oven to 350F Grease 15x10x1-inch pan with shortening.

2In large bowl, mix all base ingredients EXCEPT butter.

3With pastry blender or fork, cut in butter until crumbly.

4Press mixture evenly in bottom of pan and bake 8 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.

5Remove partially baked base from oven.

6Sprinkle the peanuts and chocolate chips over warm base.

7In small bowl, mix caramel topping and 3 tablespoons flour until well blended.

8Drizzle evenly over chocolate chips and peanuts.

9Return to oven; bake 12 to 18 minutes longer or until topping is set and golden brown.

10Cool completely, about 1 hour.

11Cut into bars.
