Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. butter
  • 2 c. peanut butter
  • 2 to 3 lb. 10x sugar
  • 3 tsp. vanilla
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 lb. paraffin wax

Directions

    Cream butter and peanut butter.

    Gradually add sugar.
  3. 3
    Add vanilla after about the first pound.

    Add and mix in sugar until you can form a ball that will stay on a toothpick for dipping.

    In a double boiler, melt the wax and chocolate chips.

    (Other coatings can be used.)

    After the coating is melted, reduce heat to low. Form balls and place on waxed paper lined cookie sheets.

    Dip and chill while you form more balls.

    They freeze well.

    Store in the refrigerator.
