  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter or oleo
  • 1 c. raw peanuts
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Combine eggs, corn syrup, salt, vanilla, sugar and butter. Mix well.

    Add peanuts and stir.

    Pour mixture into pie shell. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 350° and bake 50 minutes longer.
