  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 dash ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1 cup chopped salted peanuts
  • 1 unbaked pastry shell
  • whipped cream

Directions

    In medium bowl, beat eggs until foamy.

    Add sugar, syrup, butter, salt, vanilla, cloves and vinegar. Continue tobeat utnil thoroughly blended.

    Stir in raisins and peanuts.

    Turn into pastry shell.

    Bake at 375 degrees fro 45 minute or until firm.

    Serve slightly warm or cool, with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
