- 2 qt. chicken broth
- 2 small onions, diced
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 2 branches celery, diced
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 lb. peanut butter
- 1/2 c. ground peanuts
- 1/3 Tbsp. celery salt
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Melt butter in cooking vessel.

2Add onion and celery; saute for 5 minutes (not brown).

3Add flour; mix well.

4Add hot chicken broth; cook for 1 half hour.

5Remove from stove, strain and add peanut butter, celery salt, salt and lemon juice.

6Sprinkle ground peanuts on soup just before serving.

7Serves 20 (1/2-cups).
