Peanutty Chocolate Cake

  • 1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. devil's food cake mix
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 9 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 2 Tbsp. peanuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil

    Combine cake mix, sour cream and eggs; mix together well. Place 12 scoops of batter into bottom of a fluted stoneware cake pan, rubbed with butter. Top with Reese's Cups. Place remaining batter on top. Microwave on High 11 to 14 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes; loosen from sides and invert on plate. Place peanut butter in microwave for 20 to 40 seconds or until melted. Drizzle over cake, allowing it to run down sides. Place morsels and oil in microwave for 20 to 30 seconds or until melted and drizzle over cake. Sprinkle chopped nuts over cake.
