  • 9 cups pears, chopped
  • 6 cups sugar
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained

Directions

    In a large pot, put the pears, sugar and lemon juice, bring to a boil and cook until thickened, stirring occasionally.

    Add the pineapple and cook for 30 more minutes.

    Put in sterilized jars and seal.
