  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. chopped pears (fresh), peeled
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

    Sift together all dry ingredients.

    Add eggs, oil and vanilla. Mix well. Add pears and nuts.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes in a greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.
