  • 3 eggs
  • 1 12 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 4 cups pears, peeled, cored, and chopped up
  • 1 12 cups pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup craisins

Directions

    Heat oven to 325F

    Mix all wet ingredients with mixer; add the dry ingredients and finally mix in the pears, nuts and craisins.

    Grease 2 loaf pans, divide the dough between the 2 pans.

    Bake for 1 hr 15 min to 1 hour 30 min or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

    The bread does have a dark appearance so don't be alarmed by that.
