- 12 to 14 medium ripe pears, peeled and cored
- 8 c. sugar
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Puree the pears in a food processor or blender; pour into a large kettle or Dutch oven.

2Add remaining ingredients; bring to boil.

3Reduce heat; cook and stir, uncovered, for 50 to 60 minutes or until thickened.

4Remove from the heat.

5Pour hot into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace.

6Adjust caps.

7Process for 20 minutes in a boiling water bath.

8Yield: 12 half pints.
