- 2 lb. pears, peeled, cored and quartered
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 8 oz. crushed drained pineapple
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
Directions

1Place pears in food processor until finely chopped but still chunky.

2In a 2 to 3-quart microwave casserole, combine all ingredients.

3Microwave on High 5 minutes.

4Stir well.

5Microwave 35 to 40 minutes until pears are translucent and thickened (stir 2 or 3 times).

6Pour into 1/2 pint jars.

7Refrigerate overnight before serving.

8Store in refrigerator up to 1 month.

9This has a marmalade texture.
