  • 4 red or bosc pears
  • 1 --9 inch pie crust
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

    preheat oven to 350F

    poke pie crust with fork to prevent crust from bubbling up

    slice pears and arrange in crust

    sprinkle flour over pears

    scatter pecans over pears

    sprinkle sugar and cinnamon

    dab butter all over top.

    bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until crust is golden and top is bubbly.
