  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 750g sugar
  • 250g sharp cheddar cheese Target 2 For $5.00 thru 02/06
  • 125g CAPTAIN'S TABLE* Water Crackers

Directions

    Core and chop pears, put into a saucepan with the lemon juice and half of the cores.

    Barely cover with water; simmer until pears are soft.

    Puree the pears in a food processor, and return pears to the clean saucepan.

    Add sugar and cook until very thick, stirring regularly.

    Pour the mixture into a lined deep baking tray and leave to firm at room temperature.

    Cut into pieces and serve with cheddar cheese and water crackers.
