  • 1 gallon peeled and sliced pears
  • 8 c. sugar

Directions

    Place sliced pears and sugar in pan in layers. Let stand about 1 hour or until sugar melts to make syrup. Cook on low heat until pears are tender and done. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
