  • 6 cups pears (pared, cored and diced, any variety)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

    Mix all ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat.

    Bring to a boil.

    Cook 10-15 minutes or until pears are tender.

    Puree in blender and store in fridge or freezer.
