- 6 pears, cored
- 2 c. Burgandy wine
- 1 c. Tawny Port wine
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 sticks cinnamon
- grated rind of 1 orange
Directions

1Cut bottom of pears so pears stand up evenly in baking dish. Boil mixture of remaining ingredients for 15 minutes, until slightly thick.

2Pour over pears.

3Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Baste twice during baking.

4Serve warm with ice cream.
